Our experience heavily focuses on mastering the fundamentals of 2 and 4-man room-clearing, emphasizing the individual role responsibilities utilizing Points of Domination. Next, team coordination is key to a stealth operation in a high stakes, pressure tested environment. Speed naturally follows this as a critical element because it allows LE to exploit surprise and maximize action. By operating at high speed, adversaries cannot recover from the initial shock of the breach, effectively controlling the engagement and keeping the pressure on to dominate the environment. Finally, throttle modulation is critical because it ensures that maximum speed does not override the ability to accurately identify threats, especially in high-stakes environments. The situation in a room can change instantly. Moving too fast can cause officers to miss threats or fail to identify no-shoot targets (e.g., hostages). Modulation allows an officer to slow down to make a precise shot and speed up to clear empty space.
