A hostage scenario is one of the most difficult scenarios that a tactical team can face. While the best-case scenario for all involved is the surrender of a suspect, incidents have shown this is frequently not the resolution, and innocent people have lost their lives. It is imperative that tactical teams have a protocol and training program in place to deal with these situations.

This is a 40-plus hour high-speed course is designed to provide knowledge and hands-on training that will enable the Rappel Instructor to impart up-to-date, job-related rappelling, rescue and rigging methods in order to conduct instruction in a safe and professional manner to tactical personnel.
