Preston Hale currently serves with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (Fl), where he is assigned to the Training Unit of the Special Operations Division. During his career, he has served in multiple capacities including Patrol, Field Training Officer, Street Crimes Unit, Criminal Investigation Unit and Patrol Sergeant. Furthermore, he currently serves as a member of the St. Johns County SWAT team where he is assigned as a sniper. Preston has been involved with the Florida SWAT Association since 2013 as a member, and contributing as an instructor, Regional Representative, and currently serving on the Board of Directors as the Training Coordinator. Preston holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
