Sgt. Mike Perales has served with the Orlando Police Department for 13 years, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the agency. A 10-year member of the department’s SWAT Team, he currently serves as a Team Leader, Grenadier, and one of the lead cadre for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) instruction. Throughout his career, Sgt. Perales has served in multiple specialized units including Patrol, Tactical Anti-Crime, the Special Enforcement Division, the Training Unit, and Full-Time SWAT. He is currently assigned to the Firearms Training Unit where he continues to develop and deliver advanced tactical instruction. In addition to his departmental duties, Sgt. Perales is the Director of SWAT Round-Up International, Florida SWAT Assosiation's internationally recognized law enforcement competition and training event.
